It is the responsibility of the buyer, not Xtreme Knives, to determine and follow all local, state, federal and international laws and ordinances regarding the purchase, possession, and use of any item purchased from us. Everything we sell is subject to Public Law 90-351, Title III, U.S.D., Section 2511. Please know all applicable laws before ordering.

Absolutely no sales to minors. When you place an order, you acknowledge that the item(s) will be used in a lawful manner and that you are of legal age to make the purchase. Xtreme Knives may require proof of legal age before filling your order. We will not be held liable for the misuse of any item(s) purchased from Xtreme Knives. In addition, we assume no responsibility for any bodily injuries, dismemberment or death that may result from any item purchased from us.

Knives demand careful use to avoid injury. Care must be taken when removing/returning your fixed blade to its sheath or when opening/closing a folder.

Purchase and use of items bought from Xtreme Knives constitutes your agreement to hold all personnel at Xtreme Knives harmless of any liability for the manner in which the purchased items are used. The buyer is responsible for abiding by all local, state, and federal laws concerning the purchase and use of any items sold by Xtreme Knives.

Due to an increase in fraudulent orders, with few exceptions, we are no longer filling orders that are billed to one address and shipped to another. This does not apply to overseas Military Personnel or longtime customers.

On USA PayPal orders, we do not fill the order if the following is noted: Shipping Address: "Unconfirmed"


Shipping for knives paid for by check will be delayed until the funds clear our bank (ten days). All money orders, other than US Postal Money Orders, are processed by our bank as a regular check. Cashier's checks are also processed as a regular check. US Postal Money Orders are treated the same as cash and there is no hold up on shipping.


If we do not normally carry an item in stock and Extrema Ratio has it available, we can special order it for you from Extrema Ratio Italy. For special orders, we require a prepayment of 100% of the price of the item when we place the order with Extrema Ratio. The prepayment will be applied to the total purchase price you pay for the special order item. This prepayment is non-refundable unless we are unable to ship the item to you. If for some reason we cannot fill the special order, this prepayment will be returned to you. NO REFUNDS or RETURNS on special order items unless they are defective. We will notify you by email or phone when your special order is here.


We provide FREE Priority shipping for USA addresses and for Military Addresses.

If a package cannot be delivered because you are not available, or you reject the package, and it is returned to us, any shipping expenses incurred by Xtreme Knives will be subtracted from the refund made to you. Plus an additional 5% of the cost of the knife will also be subtracted from the refund for restocking.

Xtreme Knives will not send you a replacement for a stolen/lost knife and we will not refund your money if the package is shown by the US Postal Service as being delivered to your address. Packages can be signed for by any adult at the delivery address other than the individual who ordered the item(s).

INSURED PACKAGES GOING TO A USA NON-MILITARY ADDRESS WILL REQUIRE A SIGNATURE FOR DELIVERY UNLESS YOU REQUEST "NO SIGNATURE". All shipments to an apartment, suite, etc. will always be sent with a signature required. If you request “no signature”, Xtreme Knives will not be held responsible for any package that is lost, or stolen after delivery. We will not replace the missing item(s) nor refund your payment.


If an order is placed and then canceled before the knife has shipped, there will be no charge.

If an order is placed and then canceled after the knife has shipped: you can reject the shipment and have the unopened package returned to us. Any shipping expenses incurred by Xtreme Knives for having the rejected knife returned will be subtracted from the refund made to you. Plus an additional 5% of the cost of the knife will also be subtracted from the refund for restocking.


Extrema Ratio knives are covered by their factory warranty.

Extrema Ratio’s Warranty is as follows: Extrema Ratio guarantees a quick replacement of products (upon stock available) in case of, 1) production fault preventing item from functioning 2) break caused by production fault or inner fault in materials used. This warranty covers our knives for unlimited time. Scabbards have a 6 years warranty, from purchase by first customer. This warranty does not cover damages due to wearing, and oxidation, which can be avoided by careful lubrication and polishing. Please send faulty item back along with original copy of the purchase receipt. Should Extrema Ratio certify the fault, the faulty parts will be replaced for free, including expenses due for shipping items back. Extrema Ratio's address is:

Any knife may be returned in original UNUSED condition within two weeks of receipt for a refund or a one-time exchange. All items included with the knife such as warranty, wrenches, sheath, etc. must be returned with the knife to get a refund. Customer pays for the return shipping. Please insure your return and request a verification of delivery.

If the knife has been used or has missing items (such as wrenches), there is no refund or exchange. It should not be returned to us.

When you are returning an item, please contact us and we will issue you an RA# (Return Authorization). Please write the RA# on the outside of the box. You will need to obtain an RA# before returning the item. We are unable to accept returns without an RA# being issued. Customer pays for the return shipping. Our shipping and handling charges may be subtracted from the refund. There may be a 5% restocking fee.

If you are returning a knife and want to exchange it for another one, we will make an exchange only ONE time. Customer pays for the return shipping. If the returned knife is exchanged for one of lesser value, we will give you a refund less a shipping charge. Customer is charged for shipping the exchanged knife.

Any knife not purchased directly from Xtreme Knives should be returned to the original dealer/seller from whom you bought the knife.


Keep your knife dry and oil it with lubricants made for weapons. If your knife gets wet in salt water, wash it with salt-free water, dry well and lubricated it. If your knife becomes “greasy” or dirty, wash with detergents, rinse and dry well, and lubricate it. Keep the interior of the sheath clean to protect your knife from scratches. Plastic parts are virtually immune to things that damage the blade and generally require little care.
